Announcers Jim Ross, Bobby Heenan and Randy Savage were quick to point out the stench in the air after Harvey Wippleman and Giant Gonzalez brought out the chloroform rag as The Undertaker faded out of his clash with the eight-foot monster.
The ringsiders curiously weren't selling the effects (and probably wished they were) as 'The Deadman' had to be carted out, but at least reacted to his return from the unknown after being served a sh*tty finish from an even sh*ttier match.
It can't be understated how enhanced Undertaker's WrestleMania streak became by virtue of all those electric efforts late on. With odd rule-proving exceptions, the early years were awfully hard to stomach.
