Matt Hardy Private Party
Impact Wrestling

That Private Party looked right at home while sauntering to ringside alongside mentor Matt Hardy shows how far they've come since their initial appearance on television wrestling.

The Good Brothers, fresh off their Hard To Kill victory alongside Kenny Omega, proclaimed their mission going forward; remaining the World Tag Team Champions for as long as they please. Interrupted by one of their Hard To Kill opponents Chris Sabin, eventually joined by the returning James Storm, the tag champs found themselves with two hopeful challengers when Matt Hardy's music blasted over the PA system.

It's key to note that 'Big Money Matt' cut a killer promo on behalf of his clients, claiming to have single-handedly put Impact back on his map in 2016 with the Final Deletion angle. Hardy subtly deemed Gallows and Anderson feeble wrestlers by declaring Private Party challenge them for the titles in what would be nothing other than a warm-up match for his boys ahead of Dynamite. He's that confident, and it's great.

The bigger picture here is that the Impact/AEW working relationship isn't ending past Kenny Omega. It's crazy, really, that in 2021, we're seeing Matt Hardy back in an Impact ring, the place where he reinvented his entire career. More on the match between Private Party and Beer Guns below.
