6 Ups & 5 Downs From Impact Wrestling (19 Jan)

3. Dragging It Out

Rich Swann Moose
Impact Wrestling

When Rich Swann vs. Moose eventually happens, it'll be a great match, no questions asked. The duo will have a sensational bout together, and the story is there, given Moose's possession of the TNA World Heavyweight Championship since the end of April, proclaiming himself the real World Champion. Sadly, though, the story on the weekly shows is being dragged out to the extreme.

Swann, p*ssed off at 'Mr. Impact Wrestling's' laying him out backstage post-Hard To Kill, called out his pay-per-view tag partner, with the TNA champion refusing to have their match then and there. Instead, they'll have the match on his terms, which apparently means four months down the line. There is one positive here, that being Swann standing tall over Moose for the first time after laying him out with a phoenix splash.

It seems as if Swann will be facing Kenny Omega at Rebellion on 24 April, considering 'The Cleaner's' trademark logo on the pay-per-view logo. If that's not the case, though, are we really going to have to wait until then for Swann vs. Moose? Surely we'll be getting this on one of the Impact Plus specials between now and the end of April, but it's always possible Impact management pull a swerve and, somehow, drag this out even longer.
