This week's episode of Impact Wrestling marked the final edition of 2019, with the next two Saturdays set to feature a look back at the groundbreaking year for the company before business returns as usual on 7 January. Although the numbers may suggest a slightly worse show, it was actually one hell of a way to round off the decade for Impact.

With Hard To Kill now just three weeks to go, many of the gaps on the card have now been filled. We saw the addition of three singles matches, while the championship bouts continued to get hotter and hotter with all the champions and challengers involved in the bouts going to any means necessary to get the last laugh before the pay-per-view. Sami Callihan and Tessa Blanchard in particular once again had a strong showing, as their brawl spilled beyond the confines of the venue.

There were, unfortunately, more tedious moments on this episode than you can count on one hand. Some of them for good reason, others for pettier reasons. That backstage interviewer really does need to be replaced though.

This was without a doubt one of, if not the best year for all involved at Impact Wrestling. 2020 is already shaping up to be an incredible year but as for now, let's get to it...
