Everybody looked as though they were having a really good time in this mixed tag battle, but that doesn't stop it getting retrospectively sh*t on by your writer and anybody else that dared to want more for Randy Savage after three incredible years on 'The Grandest Stage'.

Dusty Rhodes and the Macho King fought for the bulk of 1990, but their WrestleMania VI p*ss-about was instead dedicated to the surprise appearance of Miss Elizabeth as the vital "secret weapon" she'd been for Savage's long-dead partnership with Hulk Hogan.

WWE's royalty were unable to put their rivals away in a comedy contest that was far better than it had any right to be, but few were talking about two of the all-time greats within minutes of their match.
