Strong Place At The Wrong Time.

On a week where "dozens" of performers have reportedly tested positive for Coronavirus... well, well, well, well, well. If it isn't the inevitable consequences of WWE's own actions.

That's right, Essential Service NXT is back again this week to maintain WWE's record of not missing a single show some 4 months into the biggest global health crisis modern society has ever seen. That's ok though, because this week we have a triple threat match for the North American Championship that's doubling as a number 1 contender match for the NXT Championship! All is well!

Elsewhere NXT attempted to lockdown last week's bumper audience with a conclusion to Roddy Strong's therapy angle as he faced Dexter Lumis, and of course, the faint possibility that Robert Stone might do something wacky like s**t himself this week. Truly we could not have been denied this television, truly we could not have been denied this art.

Cynicism aside though, NXT's been on a roll of undeniably-entertaining B+ shows with the occasional A* match thrown in to spice things up. This week promised more of the same as the company continues to find a reassuring level of consistency in a time of social unpredictability. Onward!
