2. Title Pictures Look Hazy

When you look at the NXT roster after all the raids by WWE in the past year, it really looks barren at the moment.

This is something that you can see right away when you look at who would be in the hunt for each of NXT’s titles. Case in point: Who should be next in line for the NXT Women’s Championship? Maybe Ember Moon, but beyond that… perennial loser Liv Morgan? And the NXT Tag Team Championships? The Revival again? TM 61 when they recover from injury?

Even the NXT Championship picture is a little scarce, especially if Samoa Joe is being called up to the main roster. After Shinsuke Nakamura, Bobby Roode could square off against Tye Dillinger, a healthy Hideo Itami, No Way Jose or Oney Lorcan.

That’s not to put these guys down or say that it’s bad to build them up as contenders, but there’s certainly work to be done to get the next group of guys in line. That’s a completely different issue than this one…
