As the calendar continues to wind down, we get closer and closer to the end of the line, er, year. A somewhat disappointing 2016 is drawing to a close, and WWE looks to be winding some stuff down while gearing up for 2017 and WrestleMania season.

We see this already with Seth Rollins repeatedly demanding that he wants Triple H, a feud that can only culminate at Mania.

But first, we have a PPV on Sunday (because, when don’t we have a PPV on Sunday?), as it’s Roadblock, where we will witness the (alleged) final chapter between Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair in a 30-minute Ironman match. We also will see if Sami Zayn can last 10 minutes against Braun Strowman. The cruiserweights will get another PPV title match, and hopefully this one won’t be used as part of an angle as during Survivor Series.

Raw held together pretty decently, mainly on the strength of two triple threat Raw Tag Team Championship matches, as New Day attempted to make history and become the longest-reigning tag champs in the company’s history. It was a pretty daunting task, but it also made for some good drama.

So what wrote its own chapter in the record books and what got decimated by a Mountain of a Man? Let’s get to it…
