6 Ups And 7 Downs From WWE Clash Of Champions 2016

Charlotte, Sasha Banks, and Bayley have put on better matches between them, but last night's Women's Title match was a solid outing. Triple Threat matches often suffer through lengthy spells when two participants are wrestling and the other is lying around like a third wheel. Last night was no different, but the trio's chemistry along with the continually vicious offence between Sasha and Charlotte shone through, and they produced Clash's finest match.

There were a number of notable spots throughout. From Charlotte's double Moonsault to Sasha and Bayley inadvertently teaming-up against the queen, it was a well-paced affair between Raw's three female standouts, and while the finish was awkward, Charlotte walked-out a rightful winner.

Bayley is better suited to the underdog role, and will benefit from a long-term build before winning her first belt. Sasha, meanwhile, will enjoy many lengthy title reigns before her career ends, but for now, Charlotte is the perfect figurehead. She's one of the company's most effective heels, and she improves in all aspects of her performance every time we see her. While still a little rough round the edges, Raw's Women's Champion is rapidly growing in stature.
