Why on earth has this Pay Per View been dropped from the WWE's schedule? Running only from 2010 to 2014, the show was a rare example of a stipulation-specific show working to perfection. While PPVs such as Extreme Rules, Hell in a Cell, and the unbelievably bland Fatal Four Way resulted in watered-down, telegraphed versions of once-beloved match types, Elimination Chamber gave its titular stipulation a deserved sense of expectation and gravitas. Usually sandwiched between the Royal Rumble and 'Mania, the show acted as the last test for the WWE Champion before the biggest show of the year - as well as the chance for a worthy competitor to snatch the title in one of the most historically gruelling matches in wrestling history. Rumours suggest that Elimination Chamber isn't actually being replaced in 2015, instead moving to the summer in order to space out Brock Lesnar's sparse appearances throughout the year. This seems a fairly sensible decision, but sadly looks to be the only Pay Per View on this list scheduled for return.
