During his ECW days, Raven established himself as one of the best in-ring psychologists in all of pro wrestling. But once he arrived in the WWE, he was restricted almost exclusively to the Hardcore division. Nonetheless, he still managed to make that domain his own. Raven won a staggering 27 Hardcore Championships during his time with the company, which also happens to be the record for most reigns of any title in WWE history. Of course, weve got to take this number with a pinch of salt. The 24/7 rule meant that many of those reigns lasted little more than a matter of minutes. For instance, 13 of those reigns came at House Shows in which Raven would win the title only to surrender it the very same night. As a result, the average length of a Raven tenure as Hardcore Champion is heavily skewed. Over the course of his 27 reigns he actually held the belt for just 93 days at an average of just half a week at a time. On another note, there were a total of 238 title wins over the course of the belts history, meaning that Raven accounted for roughly one in nine of those wins. Its statistics like these really illustrate the anarchic mayhem that was the Hardcore division.
