7 Giant Lies Told By Wrestling That Will Definitely Kill You

1. Being Buried Alive Is No Sweat

Undertaker Buried Alive
WWE

There have been five Buried Alive matches in WWE history, and (wait for it) The Undertaker has lost three of them; his first defeat was to Steve Austin in 1998, his second to Vince McMahon in 2003 and his last to Kane in 2010. Even when 'Taker has won, like he did against Mankind at In Your House 11: Buried Alive in 1996, he still ended the night coughing up dirt only to be "reborn".

That's impossible, "Deadman" or otherwise.

If a miracle did happen and someone happened to be breathing after being covered in several tons of soil, the sheer weight of the dirt would crush them; that's without taking into account the lack of oxygen available for breathing or the fact they'd been brutally beaten before being placed in the grave.

According to wrestling, being buried alive is a temporary setback and only means one must change their look for an eventual return. Being entombed in dusty, heavy soil is not a mild inconvenience unless you happen to be The Undertaker.
