7 Match Star Ratings For WWE Elimination Chamber 2021

1. Drew McIntyre Vs. The Miz - WWE Championship Match

There's an art even to this formality of a finish - just consider the parallel match worked earlier in the night - and it was never really explored. Yes, McIntyre kicked out of a DDT and his selling, while unsubtle, effectively put over the idea that this was a robbery.

The real destination - Drew McIntyre Vs. Bobby Lashley - is solid. It's not thrilling, it's not big-time, it doesn't feel WrestleMania-sized. But it's a match between a well-booked babyface and a well-booked heel. By the standards of 2021 WWE, it is miraculous.

But even viewed under the parameters of a shock tactic subplot diversion, The Miz as WWE Champion in 2021 is an indictment.
