6. Prizefighter Kevin Owens Has Rejected The Biggest Purse In Wrestling

As had been expected - and telegraphed beyond doubt - Goldberg dethroned Kevin Owens for the Universal Championship at WWE Fastlane on Sunday.

Owens had positioned himself as a cerebral strategist by stalling before the bell, in order to scale back his opponent's famed intensity - but then suddenly fell victim to the classic entrance theme distraction prank. Chris Jericho's "masterplan" - the likes of which is such a cliche that wrestlers look as dumb as a box of rocks every time they feign to look confused - had worked. Triple H played the same trick on Seth Rollins just last month. Aren't Trips and Owens meant to be in cahoots? Wouldn't he have taught him to watch out for that sort of thing?

Owens went from Ric Flair to Eugene in under a minute - and that wasn't even the daftest thing he did this week.

Kevin Owens stated on RAW that he has a rematch for the Universal Championship at a time of his choosing - but has elected to instead set his sights on Jericho at WrestleMania 33. But, considering he's meant to be a prizefighter who wrestles for a big payday, wouldn't the perfect time to have it be at the biggest show of the year? When he can theoretically earn the most money?
