7 Potential WWE Network Shows That Are In The Works
5. History Of WWE Documentary Similar To The Monday Night War
This one makes a lot of sense. The Monday Night War series has been very successful and it's going to run for about twelve episodes. Something like the History of WWE could go even longer than that depending on how they want to tell the stories. It would be really cool to learn about how Vince McMahon gobbled up so many other promotions that were seen as competition. He was ruthless in how he conducted business and it worked for him. While he probably doesn't want to go on camera to brag about how he put others out of business, that's a part of WWE history that is important to tell. There was a two hour documentary about their history on the "History of WWE" DVD released in late 2013, but that was only two hours. When watching that documentary, the one thing that was obvious was that they had to rush through things. If they did a one hour weekly series about the History of WWE and did anywhere from 12-20 episodes it would do a fabulous job of covering the history of the company. Hopefully if that show gets made, it's not something where they just tell lies about how the company was always successful without any problems. They shouldn't shy away from talking about the periods of struggle after the steroid trial and in the mid-1990s when they were barely hanging on. That's part of the story. Don't leave it out.
