https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8oqX5wEDRH0 The Austin vs Vince McMahon rivalry will perhaps go down in the history books as the greatest feud in professional wrestling. Steve Austin, against all odds won the WWF championship, and Vince McMahon set out on a quest to take the title away from the Rattlesnake. In 1998, Kane and The Undertaker faced the then WWF champion, €œStone Cold€ Steve Austin in a triple threat match at Breakdown: In Your House, which ended when Kane and The Undertaker simultaneously pinned Steve Austin! The brothers worked cohesively till the very end before they turned on each other, and in the end, chokeslammed Steve Austin together and pinned him simultaneously! Vince McMahon then vacated the title, which led to The Deadly Games taking place at Survivor Series to determine the new WWF champion. The consequences however laid foundations to one of the greatest feuds of all time, along with one of the most iconic moments in WWE history! The Rock turned on the fans and aligned himself with Vince McMahon, after Vince screwed Mankind in the main event of Survivor Series, leading to the formation of The Corporation. A month later, Mankind won the WWF title for the very first time, when he defeated The Rock on RAW thanks to interference from Steve Austin! The ending of the bout was given away by WCW€™s Schiavone, which ended up costing WCW dearly, as more than 600,000 viewers switched channels to watch Mankind win the strap!
