7 Unanswered Questions About WWE Right Now

7. What's The New Days's Gimmick Again?

OK. So Xavier Woods, Big E and Kofi Kingston are all likable babyfaces who all lack the ability to hit that extra gear of intensity as performers. One would believe that putting them together would allow for the trio to accentuate each other's weaknesses to the benefit of all three guys in the group. However, the New Day has failed because in having a clear lack of direction, they appear even less intense than ever, and are slowly becoming irrelevant as a trio. This is ridiculous because it doesn't need to be the case. At first, they were religious, but that's been largely dropped. The they were boisterously cutting promos like Baptist ministers, but that's been dropped, too. Now, they're just dudes who are happy to be happy (even though they lose more than they win), which in the history of wrestling has never made anybody a more believable anything. When The New Day come down to the ring, how many of you reading this smile and roll your eyes. Now how many of you actually clap along? The point has been made.
