7 Ups & 3 Downs For AEW Collision (16 September)

Statlander and Baker put on a great main event, as Starks and Danielson head for Texas Death.

Another AEW Collision in the books, another Collision Ups & Downs at your disposal. Similarly, it was yet again another Saturday night AEW offering that delivered more hits than misses.

This particular episode of Collision will have a place in AEW history, for it was the first episode of this weekly show to be headlined by the company's women. That main event was Kris Statlander defending her TBS Title against hometown hero Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D.; this Collision taking place from State College, Pennsylvania's Bryce Jordan Center.

Away from Statlander vs. Baker, the rest of the in-ring Collision action saw Ricky Starks and Big Bill face the Blackpool Combat Club's Bryan Danielson and Claudio Castagnoli; AEW Tag Team Champions FTR defended their gold against the Iron Savages; the Dark Order's John Silver replaced Evil Uno to battle Anthony Bowens; Aussie Open took on PB Smooth and Wes Barkley; Andrade El Idolo went up against the returning Scorpio Sky; and the Righteous and the Hardys squared off.

With all of that in mind, then, Saturday night's alright for fighting...
