Turning Point feels like a pay-per-view.

Technically speaking, it is, given that it's only available on IMPACT Plus and YouTube Ultimate Insiders - both paid subscription services - but it's not been classed as such. Still, it has a pay-per-view-quality card, a decent build to the majority of matches, bar the ones only set up this week, and it feels like a big deal for the Anthem-helmed promotion.

With regards to Turning Point developments last night, Steve Maclin battled Laredo Kid to decide whether Maclin would join the X Division Title match, Decay travelled inside the heads of the IInspiration, Moose vs. Eddie Edwards received the gift of a Full Metal Mayhem stipulation, and Doc Gallows battled Hikuleo. Elsewhere, Johnny Swinger got submitted by the Demon, fell into a mental rut, and ended the evening, having received the news of a returning friend. Or, rather, returning friends.

Oh, and Josh Alexander vs. Minoru Suzuki is a thing that happened, too.

It was a solid night of IMPACT programming that wonderfully highlighted them not having to rely on an AEW working relationship to get their product over with the fans. Their weekly shows, traditionally, prove this all the time.

Let's get to it...
