7 Ups & 3 Downs From This Week's Impact Wrestling (Mar 22)

2. All Filler

When it was announced that Ethan Page had signed a full-time deal with Impact Wrestling, this writer for one was ecstatic. To see how they’ve used him thus far though is anything but worthwhile. He's been enhancement talent for the majority of the time, bar when he was in Ultimate X in January.

He went one on one with Willie Mack this week, a match that showed the X Division is about more than just smaller guys. As a whole, the match was fine enough. The purpose, not so much. That’s probably because there was no purpose. No storyline development, no shenanigans, nothing. Just a random match to fill time.

Impact management should be doing a whole lot more with All Ego instead of using him to put over their more prolific names. It’s no secret he’s one of the most gifted indy names today, which makes it a real shame to see him losing nonstop. Justice for Page.
