7 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE Raw (3 Mar - Results & Review)

2. American Made In Need Of A Reset

All three components of American Made got some significant camera time and development on Monday night, and it’s not clear whether it was a good thing for the struggling stable.

Ivy Nile lost her match for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, a match she “earned” by attacking champ Lyra Valkyria last week after being beaten in a number one contender’s match the week prior. The loss meant that Ivy is still 0-for-2025.

Similarly, the Creed Brothers lost their shot at the World Tag Team Championship to the War Raiders, a match that was a redo of a bout two weeks earlier when the Creeds got disqualified for using the titles in full view of the referee.

Then there’s Chad Gable, on a quest to learn the secrets of lucha libre. A vignette showed that, after he struggled to find the wise instructor, he forked over a wad of cash for a box with something in it that will presumably help him understand lucha libre (it’s a mask).

This group started with high expectations, and now it’s just a relief when there’s a glimmer of hope or a glimpse of their former potential. That’s not a rousing endorsement of what happened on Monday.

American Made needs a serious reboot of some kind and some focus because “losers who keep losing” is not something fans are going to invest their time or energy into, and their shelf life as an act is going to expire.
