IMPACT's production team deserve credit every day of the week, particularly when it comes to the week of a pay-per-view. Without fail, they'll produce a neat video package for every match on the card, regardless of its importance, thus making it easy for unfamiliar viewers to understand the specific situation.
The package they released for Deonna Purrazzo, however, was sublime beyond belief.
Easily compelling the viewer by showcasing not only Deonna's two reigns as Knockouts Champio but also her impeccable work ethic in-ring to reach her current status, 'The Virtuosa' came away from this looking like a grander star than she already was. You need only look at some of the names shown in the video who she's defeated to remain champion; Taya Valkyrie in the now Franky Monet's last match in IMPACT, Jazz in her 'retirement' match, plus the likes of Rosemary, ODB, Su Yung, and Tenille Dashwood.
Needless to say, Deonna Purrazzo literally has been one of, if not the greatest Knockouts Champion in history. It's a cheesy saying to say in wrestling, but for Deonna? It couldn't be more true.
