4. Air Wilde

Whose idea was it to launch Joaquin Wilde about halfway up the ramp from the middle rope? Because that person deserves a raise.

The high-flying LWO – with surprise backup from Carlito after visa issues thwarted Dragon Lee’s involvement – toppled the boring ground game of No Quarter Catch Crew, a stable so bland that they think vanilla is too spicy. Or so some have said…

Cruz Del Toro and Wilde made sure to work the match at their pace rather than letting Drew Gulak’s crew control the tempo. As a result, a match that had “clash of styles” written all over it was pretty entertaining and kept fans pumped, right up to Carlito’s hot tag at the end.

Colon helped Cruz pick up the win with a Backstabber/Phoenix splash combo, giving the LWO a much-needed win. The only downside of this match was being reminded of just how good Wilde and Del Toro are as a tandem, because on SmackDown, they more often than not have been the “already in the ring” team rather than the exciting duo they showed Tuesday night.
