7 Ups & 5 Downs For AEW Collision (26 August)
2. LFI BS
Last week, there was an Up for the Le Faccion Ingobernable segment simply because it was nice to see AEW doing something with RUSH and his crew.
That Up was met with the caveat that this whole LFI stuff could end up being great or it could end up being trash, and if this week's Collision is anything to go by, it appears to sadly be the latter.
Here, we had Dralistico and Preston Vance tied up in Mexico, with their heads covered by sacks. Beaten and bloodied, the two managed to untie their roped chains, crack some skulls, and lead all of their attackers in a heap. All as a mystery figure - seemingly RUSH - appeared to end out this segment.
This was awful, this was way too phoney, way too cheesy, and just was all a bit naff. The lighting, the camera cuts, how fake the blood looked, and the illogicality of this being 'filmed' was just too much.
