All Elite Wrestling moved back to live broadcasting for this week's Dynamite, abandoning several weeks' worth of pretaped Double Or Nothing footage to start afresh before the 23 May pay-per-view, returning to their Daily's Place, Jacksonville home in the process.

This felt like a different show from the get-go. A more aesthetically-pleasing episode thanks to the building's beauty and the warm sunset backdrop, it saw even more wrestlers than usual gathered at ringside, their noise captured through a crowd mic. The atmosphere was notably better as a result, though concerns over social distancing are as valid there as they were when dozens of people followed the night's main event into the guts of the arena.

AEW's usual announce team were back with a bigger chunk of the roster as the promotion looked to build fresh new Double Or Nothing pairings. Jon Moxley returned against Frankie Kazarian, MJF was in the house for the first time since overcoming two life-threatening injuries, Nyla Rose was back on TV, and Le Sex Gods of Sammy Guevara and Chris Jericho met Matt Hardy and Kenny Omega in the headlining spot. Another exciting lineup, though this show was far from perfect.
