7 Ups & 5 Downs From This Week's Impact Wrestling (Jul 26)
3. The Real Moose Unleashed
For longer than these Impact articles have been going out, Moose has been descending further and further down the pecking order in the promotion. His stories with the likes of Eddie Edwards and Rob Van Dam, while not the worst thing in his career, didn't do that much to elevate him. A recent win over the latter appears to have switched something on inside of him though.
After he had defeated local competitor Ray Steele in incredibly short fashion - during which he almost broke the poor lad in half with a spear - the former Impact Grand Champion sent a direct message to Impact management. Moose made some excellent points here, saying how much he's carried the entire company on his back while other big names just pack their bags and head for the hills. No matter what he's done, he still hasn't been awarded those championship opportunities.
If this was anything to go by, then management may need to send Moose to Brian Cage (or whoever the champion is after 'Big Mike's' match with either Sami Callihan or Tessa Blanchard). Imagine watching the destruction he caused here, and not giving Moose exactly what's after. Madness.
