Unless you have a lump of black coal for a heart, you came out of your seat at the end of Raw when Big E cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase and defeated a wounded Bobby Lashley to win the WWE Championship.

E has toiled in WWE for about a decade now, achieving moderate success as a singles star but becoming a huge fan favorite as part of the New Day. Here, however, Big E finally reached the mountaintop, wresting the title away from Lashley after the champ injured his knee in a post-match beatdown of Randy Orton.

Fans lost it in the arena, and fellow wrestlers took to Twitter to celebrate a man many in the industry genuinely love. It’s one of those rare moments when good things happen to truly good people, and you see the organic outpouring of emotion from everyone – heels breaking character, former employees applauding, etc.

Just a genuinely great moment.
