7 Ups And 10 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (June 6)

9. Rewriting History

Its worth noting that a trip to the WWE Network was in order after watching the Roman Reigns video package to confirm this item.During Reigns video, the shot was shown of Roman winning the title at WrestleMania XXXII in April. But what fans heard was not what actually happened during the live broadcast. As a montage of Reigns hoisting the title was shown, the audio revealed an adoring crowd passionately cheering his victory.Only, that didnt happen.Oh sure, there were a lot of fans who cheered his title win at Mania, but if you watch (and listen to) the PPV itself, the reaction during and after the match was anything but adoring. At best, it was mixed; at worst, a rebuke. But unless you remembered (or went back and re-watched) that match ending you might think Romans title win was heralded as a triumphant moment by the fans. But that was actually just some really selective editing.
