1. Main Event Mayhem
Samoa Joe headlined NXT in a singles match against Bull Dempsey, beating the larger man handily in Dempsey's last NXT appearance. After the bout, Joe refused to break the Coquina Clutch, only releasing the hold when pulled off by a pair of wrestlers from the back. Angrily, Joe attacked both wrestlers, then placed Dempsey back in the choke. Finn Balor came out to make the save, and the two had a wild brawl around the arena. At one point, Joe threw Balor over the announcers' table, where the NXT Champion crashed into Corey Graves and knocked him flat on the ground. With no commentary, the two continued to brawl, and no matter how many people tried to keep them apart, either Joe or Balor would fight free and attack his hated foe. The show ended with neither man having established an advantage, but both thirsty for blood. This was a perfect way to finish the build for the Joe-Balor rematch and, not to beat a dead horse, but it sure outdid Raw's closing segment with Triple H and Roman Reigns. TakeOver fever has gripped the NXT Universe, and the wait is almost over.
