Downs - 2. Deep Sixed
There were three squash matches to open up the show, and while two of them felt like they served a purpose, Baron Corbin's quick victory over Mike Cuellari didn't really do much for anybody. We've seen Corbin beat nameless jobbers before, and if the point was to show that "The Lone Wolf" could easily manhandle a smaller opponent leading up to his match with Austin Aries, we've seen that, too. Corbin hit about three moves on Cuellari, eventually putting him down for three with the Deep Six. After that, an angry Corbin picked Cuellari up and delivered the End of Days before shouting at a fan. The entire thing felt like an excuse to get Corbin on TV and remind fans that he wins a lot. Again, that's not something that we forgot.
