Taking notes live during a fast-paced wrestling match is tough enough, but make it cruiserweights, and then make it four cruiserweights, and you might as well just give up.

Angel Garza, Isaiah “Swerve” Scott, Jordan Devlin and Travis Banks never took their collective feet off the gas pedal Saturday night, nailing everything as they plowed through a rapid-fire match that gave every wrestler a chance to shine. Banks in particular had a few really nice sequences and gave fans a lot to savor.

Devlin was able to break up a Garza pinfall attempt after he hit a Wing Clipper on Scott, then hit his finisher on Swerve for the title. Garza is most assuredly a star, and hopefully him losing the title Saturday night means there’s something more in store for him in NXT or even on the main rosters.

But kudos to all four men for a really fun, fast-paced match.
