Ups...

7. Sending A Message

There are little things that make you smile or stand up and take notice. Velveteen Dream provided one such moment without saying a word.

Dream wore airbrushed tights with a very clear message on the posterior: “Call me up Vince.” It was a direct note to the chairman of WWE that the Dream is ready to make it to the big time and a fun way to remind everyone that NXT is WWE’s developmental territory. The black and yellow brand is where wrestlers hone their craft before moving up to the main roster. Much like the minor leagues in baseball, players can get “called up” when it’s deemed that they’re ready.

Velveteen simply took that analogy and advertised himself as being too big for NXT and wanting a promotion. It was a fun little moment.
