7 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (June 15th)

The Beast returns, but Kevin Owens dominates Raw. And a man in a paper crown with a plunger.

After a lackluster Money in the Bank PPV that featured a couple really good matches but few surprises, WWE needed to ramp things back up Monday night. Thankfully, the company had just the prescription in the form of the Beast Incarnate. But despite the much-anticipated return of Brock Lesnar, Monday night was all about another bruising heel who has been terrorizing the roster (or at least one superstar in particular). No, not Bray Wyatt. Kevin Owens owned Raw Monday night, crushing it on the microphone, battling a former world champion and then crashing a music concert. It was the kind of showing you don€™t see very often, especially not from someone in his first month on the main roster and fresh off a loss at MITB. Raw also featured a grown man wearing a paper crown and carrying a plunger (one guess who€™s really entertained by that segment), a dying-on-the-vine Intercontinental Championship feud and another in-show movie preview. We also saw two WWE signature match winners €“ King of the Ring and Money in the Bank ladder match €“ go down in defeat, because reasons. All in all, WWE delivered a really good post-PPV episode Monday night, a show that provided some DVR-worthy moments (because who hasn€™t dreamed of assaulting a musical guest at some point?) for fans. So what roared and what whimpered Monday night? Let€™s find out.
