The show ended with a special look at the talk of TakeOver: Dallas - Shinsuke Nakamura versus Sami Zayn. The bout was the best match of the show, one of the best of the weekend, and it immediately made "The King of Strong Style" a superstar - not just in NXT, but in WWE as a whole.

The match also served as a farewell to Sami Zayn, who joined WWE's main roster full time a month ago. Though he continued to appear on pre-taped NXT broadcasts, TakeOver: Dallas marked his final bout with the brand. In a post-match interview, Zayn thanked Nakamura for shaking his hand after the contest, and mentioned how proud he was of the quality of the bout.

Nakamura was taped backstage as well, standing with former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Funaki. Funaki translated an interviewer's question for Nakamura into Japanese, and the brand's newest superstar began to answer in his native language, but when Funaki started to translate, Nakamura cut him off and announced, in English, that "Strong Style has arrived."
