Dressed up like the Road Warriors and treated like jokes, I don't think anyone would be shocked if the Ascension got cut sometime soon. But on NXT this duo dominated the tag division for an amazing 364 days. Years later, that’s still the record for longest tag title reign on the brand.
After beating Neville and Bo Dallas for the belts, they squashed all manner of jabronies week-in and week-out in an unstoppable whirlwind of destruction. It's always been a question as to whether the Full Sail crowd were genuinely into their antics or just cheered along on some ironic hipster level, but it seems safe to say the Ascension will probably never equal the heights of their NXT success.
