The winner of the match should be Bad News Barrett. He lost a qualifier to Sheamus to get into the WWE WHC ladder match, but that shouldn't prevent him from being in this match. Barrett's a guy that has a lot of momentum thanks to WWE actually putting some time into him and making him the man that delivers the bad news to other performers in WWE. He's actually a guy that I would have considered a favorite to win this match in 2011 (they went with Daniel Bryan) and 2013 (they went with Damien Sandow). Remember, Barrett was put in a main event position for the second half of 2010 when he was working with the likes of John Cena and Randy Orton, so he was very close to becoming a top guy. It would be a lot of fun to see the bearer of "bad news" holding the Money in the Bank briefcase because every time his music hits the fans react to him like a star. It wasn't always that way. The gimmick works. His in-ring performances are above average. He can talk. Everything is in place for him to become a top guy in WWE. It's just a matter of being given an opportunity to win the Money in the Bank briefcase and putting him over the right way. Barrett's the current IC Title holder, but that shouldn't be a reason to avoid doing it. He can drop that title any time. What they should focus on is building him up as the Money in the Bank winner because they need more top stars that are heels. A Wade Barrett win wouldn't be bad news at all because Barrett's time is now.
