7 WWE Superstars In Vince McMahon's Doghouse Right Now

6. Heath Slater

Heath Slater is one of those guys that fans mention whenever there are rumors of WWE roster cuts. His former partners in 3MB were Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal. They both got released by WWE a few months ago. Slater survived. Since then he's been teaming with the previously mentioned Titus O'Neil although that seem to have to ended. This past week on Raw, Slater came out as a babyface challenger of Rusev. He lost in 30 seconds. With Zack Ryder out of action for half a year, maybe Slater will take over the role as the guy that gets beat up all the time. It's not a great gig, but it's better than working elsewhere. What WWE should do with him is pair him up with Justin Gabriel as a tag team. Neither guy is doing anything right now, but both are solid in the ring and Gabriel's electrifying as a high flyer. Plus, they have history together as part of the Nexus. Whether they work as a heel or face team it really doesn't matter. Slater has talent. He's a great bumper. He never misses spots in matches. There's nothing he won't do out there, no matter how ridiculous it is. Whether he's out there as a delusional heel or a comedic face that the fans can laugh at, he's always been pretty good at getting a reaction. Vince McMahon likely sees Slater as just another guy that they don't need to waste time on. It's sad that they think that way, but it's going to be tough for him to get them to change their mind.
