It's just over two years since Tony Khan officially formed All Elite Wrestling. And man, what a two years it's been.

While AEW may not hit home with each and every segment for everybody, there is a hugely passionate fan base willing Khan's promotion success at every turn. Considering how monopolised the mainstream North American wrestling scene has been for the past 20 years, AEW has been such a breath a fresh air.

One element that many have commended AEW for, is the way in which the company handles it storylines. Forget hot potatoes and brief builds, brother; All Elite has brought back the artform of letting stories breathe and unravel at a natural pace.

Key to such storytelling, of course, are the more nuanced, minute details that AEW delivers right under our noses. Sometimes these tiny details lead to something, sometimes they don't, but these teases forever reward those fans who pay the most eagled-eyed attention to the All Elite product.

On that front, then, here are eight such times when AEW teased huge things right in front of our face - without most of us even ever noticing!

One of the great mysteries of AEW, was the whodunnit that surrounded Jon Moxley back in November of last year.

As Mox was due to make his way to the ring for a contract signing ahead of his AEW World Championship defence against Kenny Omega, we cut to a backstage scene of the former Lunatic Fringe flat on his back. From there, viewers were left with the poser of just who was it that took out Mox.

For the eagle-eyed, one major tease was that Omega's former tag team partner, 'Hangman' Adam Page was the person behind the attack. That tease was down to how Moxley was positioned - with him in a pose reminiscent of the Hanged Man tarot card.

Had Page taken out the AEW World Champ for his old pal? Was Hangman embracing the dark side? Had the boozing finally sent him over the edge?

That Hangman Page tease ultimately came to nothing, with it seemingly KENTA who was behind the attack - although even now, four months on, there's been no definitive answer to this question.
