As fighters get older, many of them struggle to maintain the ripped bodies they had during their prime. However, some fighter’s bodies changed pretty dramatically since the UFC teamed up with USADA back in June 2015. The dramatic change in Vitor Belfort’s body over since 2012 is clear for anybody to see.

The former Lightweight champion is a staple-mark name for anybody who knows anything about MMA but the Brazilian’s change in shape has blown a questionable cloud over his career on just how long he had been clean for. Ahead of UFC 152 he tested positive for the a banned testosterone replacement therapy(TRT) but the UFC let the fight go ahead even though he had elevated levels of testosterone.

Six years prior to USADA, when his current UFC run started, “The Phenom” built up an average 6-3 record however his three defeats came in title challenges to living legends Anderson Silva, Jon Jones and Chris Weidman.

Since USADA have been implemented in the sport, Belfort has racked up a disappointing 2-3-0-1NC and after his loss to Lyoto Machida, Belfort has decided to hang up his gloves once and for all.
