8 Booking Steps For The Perfect WWE Survivor Series 2017 Card
7. Strowman's Rehabilitation
'The Monster Among Men' is languishing.
One month removed from taking a dismal clean loss to Brock Lesnar at No Mercy, Braun Strowman played only a peripheral role in TLC's 5-on-3 main event. He was used as a doormat to make Kane look strong, which made zero sense within the context of the match, but will probably be used to set up a bout between the two at Survivor Series.
TLC diminished Braun, but booking him against Kane is fine. Yes, 'The Big Red Machine' is well past his sell-by date, but he's another historic monster for Strowman to squash after a series of surprisingly enjoyable bouts with Big Show earlier this year.
WWE should book this feud by having the duo wreak as much havoc as possible over the next few weeks. It's the format that put Braun in the map in the first place, and if his segments with Kane are as fun as those he had alongside Roman Reigns, WWE can restore some of the goodwill lost through the big man's needless win over Finn Bálor.
The match itself might suck, but the feud can still succeed if WWE follow this straightforward blueprint.
