8 Last Minute Changes That Could Save WWE Clash Of Champions 2017

1. Add The Singh Brothers To The Main Event

AJ Styles is all set to defend the WWE Championship against former champion Jinder Mahal. is WWE just going to switch the title back to Jinder? Did AJ win it purely because it became abundantly clear that not even Jinder’s family wanted to see The Modern Day Maharaja take on Brock Lesnar? We can only hope and pray that isn’t the case, and AJ survives Boston with the title intact.

Either way, the match itself will be fairly predictable to a point. AJ will be in control with the finish line in sight, only for those damn Singh Brothers to interfere. This will either allow Jinder to pick up the win, or AJ will fight Sunil and Samir off before putting Mahal away.

There is one interesting way that WWE can remove this nonsense, and that is by making the match a three-on-one handicap match. The Singhs could just as easily be banned (like, actually banned) from ringside, but why not go a little further and add them to the bout?

All results stay on the table, but each one becomes a little less frustrating. You could even have the Singhs abandon Jinder, ending the trio and Mahal’s main event in the process. Will it happen? Probably not. Instead, we’ll get AJ vs. Jinder in another plodding SmackDown Live pay-per-view main event.

Clash of Champions is all set up to be a solidly mediocre show. WWE has options to enhance the show, but will it have the cojones to make the amendments? How would you improve WWE Clash of Champions?
