8 Most Desired Fights For UFC Vs. Bellator Supercard

1. Michael Chandler Vs. Khabib Nurmagomedov

Who can beat Khabib Nurmagomedov?

The questions posed by the Russian's dominating grappling game have yet to be answered since his debut in 2008. Nurmagomedov has racked up an unprecedented undefeated record across 28 fights against some of the best mixed martial artists in the world. Should he go on to defeat former UFC Interim Lightweight Champion Tony Ferguson in their long-awaited showdown at UFC 249 in April and it's hard not to argue that Khabib is in the conversation for the greatest fighter of all time.

Conventional wisdom states that the man that will finally defeat Nurmagomedov will need to be sufficiently skilled in wrestling to be able to stop the Russian asserting his grappling dominance, mixed with striking prowess to make him pay while on the feet. Tony Ferguson and Justin Gaethje may fit this description but there is a fighter on the Bellator roster whose style would match up well with Nurmagomedov's.

Michael Chandler has been one of Bellator's best lightweight fighters ever since he signed with the company in 2010. Wins over Eddie Alvarez, Benson Henderson, and Patricky Freire among others have seen the All American wrestler capture the Bellator Lightweight Championship a record three times.

Prediction: In the main event of this star-studded card, Chandler would put up an admirable performance representing team Bellator, but ultimately Khabib's unmatched pressure and grappling prowess both on top, and off his back, would be enough to earn the Russian a decision win.
