One of the more popular spots you’ll see in a Royal Rumble is when a gaggle of superstars will gang up on a large or dominant wrestler in an effort to eliminate them. It’s a smart group mentality to toss the most dangerous person before they can pick off everyone else one by one.

In 2007, nine men combined to eliminate the large Viscera, bouncing the near-500-pound wrestler before he could squash a bunch of other entrants. In the inaugural women’s Rumble in 2018, six women teamed up to toss Nia Jax.

This year’s women’s Rumble dwarfed that figure, when 11 women ganged up to eliminate a returning Jax, who thumbed her nose at the entire roster as the #30 entrant, only to be bounced in less than 2 minutes.

It’s doubtful we’ll see this record topped, just given the logistics of getting more than one-third of a Rumble field in the ring at one time and then fitting around a single body to eliminate them. It’s a cool visual, but it’s not practical to add more to the mix.
