8 Potential Opponents For Brock Lesnar After WrestleMania 34

Presuming Lesnar sticks around, who is next on his plate?

Ever since he overcame Goldberg at WrestleMania 33 in one of the best sub-five minute matches in the history of professional wrestling, Brock Lesnar has ruled over the RAW main event scene with an iron first. No man has held the WWE Universal Championship for as long as Lesnar, and he hasn’t seemed particularly close to losing it at any time.

The reason for this is because Roman Reigns has long been considered the man to dethrone him - a dethroning that will likely happen at WrestleMania 34. WWE’s obsession with coronating Reigns is a long way from being over, and the Big Dog being the man to finally defeat the Beast is as depressing as it is predictable.

Let’s say that Reigns beats Lesnar at WrestleMania 34 - what next for The Conquerer? A dark cloud hangs over Brock’s future (as usual), but there is every chance that he will decide to stay in WWE. It is easier money, after all, if far less. Who should he feud with over the summer? There aren’t a huge amount of options, but the ones on the table are tantalising to say the least.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
