8. Jason Jordan's Push As A Top Babyface
There was nothing WWE could do about the fact Jason Jordan had to undergo intensive neck surgery in February. After all, Jordan hardly wanted to miss WrestleMania 34. In truth though, the wheels had already started to come off plans to make Jordan a major babyface player on Raw.
It wasn't really going anywhere.
Indeed, the angle changed and Jason was rethought as an eager annoyance who had to be put in his place several times by Kurt Angle, Rollins and Roman Reigns. The whole thing was spluttering along before he took some time off, and there didn't seem to be any sense of direction other than an unwanted match opposite Seth at 'Mania. Even that wasn't nailed on.
It did seem to be part of the plan when Jordan and Seth dropped the Raw Tag-Team Titles back to The Bar at Royal Rumble, but fans were still reeling from Jason being recast as Angle's kayfabe son the previous summer and had a hard time embracing him.
When Jordan returns, it'd be brave of WWE to try a babyface run again.
