Although at times loud, annoying, obnoxious and distracting it can't be denied that the live audience is one of, if not the most important aspect of any wrestling show.

In the early days of lockdown before companies found creative, unique ways to replicate a crowd, such as the WWE ThunderDome incorporating video streams and AEW and NXT using wrestlers and staff on their roster, wrestling shows suffered greatly. There was always an undeniable feeling that a big part of the show was missing at all times. This in turn affected everything from the production of the shows to the action in the ring. It also ruined a number of special moments, most notably Drew McIntyre winning his first ever WWE Championship at WrestleMania.

When fans finally do make their return we can expect them to be louder, more annoying, extra obnoxious and as distracting as ever! The first few shows with a full capacity audience in particular will be very special. The emotion on display from the audience, as well as the wrestlers will be felt through television screens and computer monitors worldwide.
