8 Ups & 1 Down From Impact Wrestling (Jun 16)

Trouble is coming on a night that saw Ace Austin acquire another big beefy boy.

Capped off by a mammoth Street Fight between Ace Austin and Eddie Edwards, this week's Impact Wrestling was tease central. How dare they play EC3's theme after Moose's victory as if he was about to come to ringside. How dare they suggest former World Champion Chris Sabin may be returning to the company at Slammiversary. Most importantly, how dare they tease a Rohit Raju push.

Aside from the teases though, the show also featured some damn good professional wrestling. The North's successful defence of their World Tag Team Championships against Dez and Wentz of The Rascalz made for a tremendous show-opening contest, whereas Moose seeing off Hernandez to remain the TNA World Heavyweight Champion was an entirely different bout to the one we were expecting to see from the pair. That's said in a good way, for the record - it's always good to see talents trying something different every now and again.

Alongside Trey being laid out backstage, and an extremely well-produced vignette focusing on Deonna Purrazzo's career leading her to Impact Wrestling, we had a decent instalment of the no crowd era of Impact. So, in other words, no real surprise. The promotion are continuing to go above and beyond as we fastly approach Slammiversary in one month's time.

Let's get to it...
