The Royal Rumble wishes it could pull off a shocker like this.

Just as the Raw Tag Team Championship triple threat ladder match was about to begin, New Day walked out and announced that a fourth team was joining the fray. Many fans simply assumed that the WrestleMania hosts – who also are the longest reigning tag champs in WWE history – were talking about themselves.

But instead, Broken Matt and Jeff Hardy returned to WWE to enter the match. They would go on to not only surprise everyone, but complete the shocker by winning the tag titles, sending the crowd into a frenzy.

To their credit, Matt and Jeff looked right at home, and the other three teams held up their ends of the match, delivering a truly memorable moment that will be hard to top in years to come.
