8 Wrestling Bloopers You Have To See

1. "The Right Gay Guy"

We rarely hear much about Hulk Hogan's other vidileak in which he uttered homophobic slurs, so much were they eclipsed by his infamous, headline-generating racial epithets. We won't repeat the precise language the Hulkster used to describe the current resident of his childhood home, but needless to say it was disappointingly vile.

Perhaps we can take heart from the suggestion that his nasty comments come from a place of internalised homophobia brought on by ego-dystonic sexual attraction. During his feud opposite Vince McMahon in 2003, the charisma gradually drained from Hogan as he cut a promo on the boss, twice attempting and failing to deliver his lines. Stumbling a second time, Hulk described how he was "the right gay guy" to build the company around all those years ago.

Presumably, then, this Freudian slip hints that the hatred within comes from an inability to accept who he is. Or maybe he's just a t*sser.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
