It hasn't been announced officially announced, but the end of Christian's in-ring career might be here. He's missed a lot of action in the last few years due to various injuries namely concussions and dealing with shoulder issues. His last match was on television was in March. He wrestled for about 15 years before the injuries started happening and now that he's 40 years old it might be time to retire. While it's likely something that is weighing heavily on his mind, he seems like the kind of guy that would definitely have some other job in WWE after his in-ring career was over. He could do commentary, train wrestlers at the Performance Center in Orlando or work as an agent/producer backstage. Hopefully Christian is able to get back in the ring a few more times just to be able to say he got out in a way he liked instead of just going away without any kind of tribute. He may not get the kind of send-off that his best friend Edge got, but he will be joining him in the Hall of Fame one day. After all, Christian deserves to have what he's been after all these years...one more match. If not, that's okay. At least give us a five second pose for the benefit of those with flash photography.
